The Synth Stories are about what happens when the machines work. There is no glitch, no bad code, no malfunction. The Synths do exactly what they were built to do. The horror is what people and androids feel once that is true.

Each book is a short, self-contained dime novel. One sitting. One place on the timeline. They can be read alone or in any order. The world keeps moving either way. The stories shift genre — noir, domestic dread, bloodsport, military chaos — but stay inside the same system.

The shape came from Tales from the Crypt and Black Mirror. Short, sharp, and finished when the tape ends.
